Qualifications

Position Description
Fast Forward Composites is looking for a Design for Manufacture (DFM) Engineer or entry level
design technician to join our DFM Team. The primary mission of this DFM position is to collaborate
with the DFM Department Head in support of FFC’s manufacturing efforts on the shop floor, maintain
all design/build documentation necessary for compliance with our AS9100 ISO Standard, Work with
Project Managers and Composite Technicians to supply adequate drawings and build support, and
Support the DFM Department Head in all aspects of quoting, RFQ proposals, and project costing. The
ideal candidate would be organized, have a consistent attention to detail, and contribute to the
positive, collaborative energy of the FFC Team. .


Design for Manufacture: Essential Job requirements

• Proficiency with Rhino 3D modeling and Microsoft Office
• Competency in general drafting standards
• Comfortable and proficient with the Metric System
• Communicate and consult with DFM Department Head and FFC’s Project Managers to support and
deliver essential build documentation to the shop floor.

Education/Experience
