Position Title: Marine Techs
Compensation/Rate: 17 to 45 Per Hour
Location: Annapolis, MD
Position Summary:
Annapolis Yacht Services is a factory & warranty Service Center for many top tier vessel manufactures specializing in commissioning, service, and repairs of both new and used vessels. We are seeking marine technician applicant to join our team of highly experienced technicians and installers. A veteran technician with direct and specific experience and references in this trade including certifications such as NMEA, ABYC, Yanmar or Volvo certifications, Yamaha certifications, Mercury certifications, or electronics manufacturer certifications would be the ideal candidate but not required. If you are this type of experienced applicant, we can offer pay and benefits exceeding what you are making now.
Recent trade school graduates or career changers may be considered as well but will start at a level commensurate with experience.

Below is a sample of just some of the services we perform
• Troubleshoot and repair vessel systems
• Troubleshoot and repair engines and propulsion systems, both inboard and outboard
• Sailboat rigging
• AC and DC electrical wiring
• AC and DC systems, troubleshooting/repair - Install/service/troubleshoot batteries, chargers, inverters,etc
• Marine electronics troubleshooting, installation, and repairs
• Transducer & thru hull installation/service
• Fabrication/woodworking/fiberglass/paint
• Battery replacements and other heavy lifting tasks
• Sea trials for equipment calibration and testing if required
• Plumbing
• Window Replacement or Caulking
• Deck component repairs & replacements
