The Landing School, located in Arundel, Maine, occupies several spacious, contemporary buildings in a residential area of the small town. The facility covers more than 50,000 square feet and includes a boat building shop, design studio, systems laboratory, composites shop, classrooms, learning resource center, student lounges, faculty and administrative offices.

Campus Tours

Campus tours are offered Monday through Friday by appointment and conducted by our admissions representative. You can expect your campus tour to be about an hour long. Campus tours are walking tours, so if you or anyone in your party have mobility concerns, please connect with us before your tour. If you can’t make a campus tour, we encourage you to see a virtual tour.

Virtual meetings are a great way to connect with the admissions team and to get all of your questions answered. Whether you are just starting to explore the next step of your education or have questions about the application process, a thirty minute virtual meeting is a great place to start.

All virtual meetings will happen via Zoom. A Zoom link will be sent to you within 24 hours before your scheduled meeting time.

Open houses

The Landing School hosts an Open House during the Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer. During the Open House, students and families have the opportunity to meet with admissions, program instructors and current students, take a campus tour, meet future classmates, and much more. Please register before attending this event

Shadow Days

Shadow Days are reserved for students who have applied, been accepted, or enrolled to The Landing School for the Fall 2024 Academic Year. Join us for a half day on campus exploring one or more of our programs. You'll get a first-hand experience in our shops, meet our faculty members, connect with current students and more.

Traveling by Car 

From Interstate 95, get off via Exit 25 (Kennebunk). After the toll booth, bear left onto Route 35 toward Kennebunk. After passing the local high school, continue straight on Route 35 through the traffic circle. At the next traffic light, turn left, and then bear right at the next light, continuing on Route 35 for 2 miles until you see The Landing Store on your right. Immediately past the store is Durrells Bridge Road on the left. Take that left and follow Durrells Bridge Road to the end (less than half-mine) where it intersects River Road. The Landing School is immediately to the right of the intersection.

    This train currently runs between Boston North Station and the Portland Transportation Center. The closest stop to The Landing School is the Wells Regional Transportation Center. It’s approximately a 15-minute ride by car to The Landing School.
