BOATBUILDING 101: AN INTRODUCTION TO BOATBUILDING

In this 3-day class, Clint Chase will lead you through the essentials of boatbuilding from a complete kit for our Points East Pram. With the precut wood, screws, glue, and tools on hand, you’ll start building at 8am in the morning and finish at 5:30pm. One lucky student may go home with the boat, which will be done on a lottery basis if more than one student is interested. We do offer class extensions for boat finishing and rigging if a student wishes to continue on with us to finish the boat.

Build your own Echo Bay Dory Skiff or Compass Skiff in one week with the help of the pros! We start with a kit for the rowing version of the boat and you leave with a skiff ready to prepare for painting and your first row. The Echo can be converted to sail with further work at home or you can schedule an add on class! The Compass only needs a motor to go! We offer class extensions if you just couldn’t get enough of us and want to do more. Bring a helper for 50% discount (CSC class only).
