Position Title: Maintenance Technician
Compensation/Rate: $22 to $35. Based on experience.
Location: Charlotte, VT
Position Summary:
We are looking for an individual who enjoys working, is physically active, is open to learning new skills, and takes pride in their work.
We specialize in the maintenance, repair, and refit of wood and fiberglass boats. From tenders to 50’.
Our shops are located half an hour from Burlington and Middlebury Vermont. There are many places nearby to access Lake Champlain, hiking trails, mountain biking, skiing, and kiteboarding.
This position is available for full time employment.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Moving boats into/ out of the shop
- Setting up worksites
- Painting/ varnishing
- System installation
- Fiberglass/ gelcoat repair
- Rigging
- DC electronics
- Tool/ equipment maintenance
We offer on the job training and will provide you with the necessary PPE. Work will take place both on land and on the water. Experience around boats is a plus, but not required.
Applicants must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and be cleared to lift heavy objects.
