Position Title: Composite Technician
Compensation/Rate: $25-30/hr
Location: Bristol, RI
Position Summary:
The Moore Brothers Company, based in Bristol, RI is currently looking to hire Composite Technicians. MBC is a fast growing composite shop focusing on custom work for marine, aerospace, and various other applications. Our ethos is that quality work cannot be done without quality people. We work hard to find and keep the right people. Experience matters, but attitude, outlook, and fit is everything.
Technician responsibilities include but are not limited to:
o General shop work according to shop drawings and verbal instructions
o Lamination and vacuum bagging of composite parts in a variety of production systems
o Assembly of components
o Mold and tooling build out and finishing
o Sanding, filling, fairing, finishing and general paint preparation tasks
o Quality documentation and tracking
o General machine and tool maintenance
o Trouble shooting and continuous process improvement
Our ideal candidate will have:
o Any experience level with or willingness to work with composites. We welcome experienced technicians+ who can jump right into the role and are willing to train the right person.
o Experience safely operating power and hand tools
o The ability to work in a collaborative team environment
Current benefit package consists of:
o Salary range is flexible and highly based on experience
o 1-week paid vacation after 6 months employment, second week added at 18months
o Health insurance (MBC covers half of the premium)
