The Landing School’s President, Richard Downs-Honey, attended the unveiling ceremony for the world’s largest 3D printer at the University of Maine in Orono today. He was among many other industry professionals, including Aaron Porter, editor of Professional BoatBuilder Magazine, and James Anderson, the lead on this project.
James Anderson, who lead this feat, was previously a Composites engineer for Richard’s company, High Modulus. Richard says: “Congratulations to the UMaine team and to James - for continuing the innovative drive we developed together at High Modulus… and now here we both are in Maine, pushing boundaries at UMaine and The Landing School!”
