Position Summary:
Hatecke Service USA LLC is located in Miami and is an industry leading company focused on the service and repairs of Lifeboats, Davit, Marine Engines and Life Saving Appliances.
We are currently seeking a Senior Service Technician / Senior Marine Engineer to join our service team.
Job overview:
Worldwide Service Technician involved in commissioning, installation, diagnostics, and repair of Lifeboats, Davits, Engines and Electrical components.
Key functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Install, maintain, OEM and third party products and equipment aboard vessels and dry-docks
Troubleshoot, identify, analyze, and repair product failures
Load Testing – Static and Dynamic
Lifeboat refurbishment
Communicate with shipyard personnel and vessel representatives to ensure seamless operations
Commission and perform acceptance sea trails and demonstrate functionality of equipment to customers
Create and maintain service reports, and associated documentation
Plan and arrange travel schedules as required
Maintain daily records of job functions
