Want to join the most recognized marina and marine service based company in the world?  We are looking for a Member Services Specialist with a broad knowledge of boat types, service components, and parts. Join our experienced, professional, and dynamic team in one of the fastest growing boat repair, storage, and marina operations in Maine. Areas of responsibility include Member account management, estimate development, work order creation, customer project communication, new account generation, department management support, phone and walk-in support. Prior customer service experience required. Full time position with benefits. Hourly pay range based on experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Provide support to Service and Project Manager(s)
• Act as liaison between customers and Service/Project Manager(s)
• Provide clear and precise instructions on the work order for technicians
• Work order and estimate creation
• Generate invoices for all work provided by service departments
• Support payment collection efforts in a timely manner
• Continuously meets ongoing company goals
• Available to work overtime when required to meet deadlines
• Other duties as assigned by Manager
• Office organization and cleaning
• Phone and customer reception
• Parts Department support as needed

Safety and Environmental Responsibilities

• Follow SHM Safety and Environmental rules and complete required related training
• Wear proper personal protective equipment (may include safety glasses, gloves, life jackets and/or hard hats) as required for the task or work area
• Report all accidents, injuries, spills and near misses immediately

Technical and Physical Requirements 

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior marina experience preferred
• Prior customer service experience preferred
• Ability to lift 20 pounds
