Position Summary:
Padebco is growing our team!
We’re seeking self-motivated team players who want to expand their skill sets. This is a full-time position in a fast-paced yard; you must be able to work with minimal supervision with a like-minded crew. You’ll be working year-round assisting with boatyard activities such as; painting, varnishing, waxing, launching/hauling boats, rigging, commissioning/winterizing engines and outboards, and working on plumbing and electrical systems.
Previous experience in the marine industry is preferred, but we will train the right candidate. We offer competitive pay based on experience, benefits, retirement, paid vacation, and holiday pay.
Candidates must have a strong work ethic, be dependable, be able to multi-task and have a knowledge of boats and boating. Successful candidates must work well with others, be detail-oriented, and provide quality service to our boating clients.
Conditions of employment include; the ability to lift/carry 50 pounds, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and being authorized to work in the United States.

Padebco has been servicing boats and building custom Downeast-style boats in Round Pond, Maine for over 65 years. Our full-service boatyard offers marine services, hauling, and storage for sail and powerboats.
