Johanson Boatworks is a full-service yacht yard offering repairs, storage and complete restorations. Our Mid-coast Maine facility, located in Rockland, is seeking a seasonal Marine Rigger. Position potentially could lead to year-round employment, based on secondary skills. Applicants must be able to safely handle both power and sail boats 25’ – 50’. Must have general knowledge of boats including but not limited to: stepping and un-stepping masts, rigging boats, including tuning rig, wiring mast and bending sails, winch & windlass rigging, rope splicing. Critical thinking is a must. Full time, spring through fall, Monday – Friday (7am – 3:30pm) with overtime available during Spring launch and fall haul out season.
