Position Summary:
Farley Boat Works is looking for someone to join our family! We are seeking a highly motivated boatbuilder to manage and instruct our boat building operation. We are a living museum and are keeping the boat building experience alive in Port Aransas, TX. Farley Boat Works was originally opened in 1914 and provided everyone from charter fishermen to presidents the boats to get out into the Gulf of Mexico and catch Tarpon. In 2011 the Preservation Association a 501c3 reopened the Farley Boat works to offer the opportunity for people to come and build their own boats. The Port A Skiff is the most popular, its a flat bottom skiff that is ideal for fishing the bays and flats surrounding Port A. Port Aransas is a barrier reef island on the Texas Gulf Coast. We have a beautiful beach voted Best of the Best year after year. We are historically a fishing and boating community. Port A is host to many fishing tournaments throughout the year.
