Koehler Kraft Co., located on Shelter Island in sunny San Diego, is looking for you! We have an extremely unique opportunity to fast-track determined, eager and spirited individuals on the path to leadership. The ambitious person(s) filling this role will be directly mentored and developed in all areas of boat repair, boatyard operations and custom builds. Our small but mighty team is hands-on across all facets of the maritime trades.
Koehler Kraft Boatyard, established in 1938, is San Diego’s oldest boatyard. Our 25,000 sq. ft . outdoor boatyard and 9,000 sq. ft. indoor boat repair shed provide us with the capabilities to offer a full range of boat repair & restoration services for boats of all types. Our operation incorporates the only small craft marine railway system in all of San Diego County. Our second-generation boat-builder C.F. Koehler and his team of experienced marine technicians are experts in both the latest technologies and traditional skills for both boat building & repair. Not only do we repair modern & classic boats of all kinds, we also specialize in producing custom, cold-molded wooden vessels. Our extensive knowledge, traditional skillset and boat design mixed with new age technology makes our custom Koehler Krafts one-of-a-kind creations.
