Position Title: Head Sailing Instructor
Compensation/Rate: ~$30/hour
Location: Martha’s Vineyard, MA
Position Summary:
The Chilmark Community Center Sailing Program on Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts, seeks sailing coaches for next summer. The program will run from June 27th - August 12th, and coaches will be responsible for launching and hauling our fleet of Optis, Sunfish, 420, and Daysailors. Coaches should, therefore, expect to start and end work at least one week before and after these dates.
The program runs from 8:30 am - 12:30 pm Monday - Friday (salaried), and instructors are encouraged to teach private lessons in the afternoon (commissioned). We are also hoping to run a clinic on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons for our more advanced students.
