Position Title: Marine Mechanic
Compensation/Rate: Depending upon experience
POSITION: Hodgdon Yacht Services on Southport is looking for an individual to expand our growing mechanics team. This position includes repair and service on all types of marine engines, both gasoline and diesel, with an emphasis on diesel inboard and generator applications. Stern drive and outboard experience are also a plus.
POSITION DUTIES: Duties include commissioning/decommissioning, troubleshooting and repair of water systems, engines, refrigeration systems, heating/cooling systems, AC and DC electrical systems and heads. Provide estimates for system upgrades and repairs typical to marine systems. Ability to research in catalogs, on-line, through dealer port holes, service/parts manuals and computer sources is preferred.

Our current work schedule is four ten-hour days, allowing for three-day weekends.
