Position Title: Production Drafter
Compensation/Rate: $20/HR & dependent upon the experience of the candidate.
Company: Inventech Marine Solutions, is a manufacturing company located in Bremerton WA. We specialize in the design, and manufacturing of high performance aluminum boats and state of the art hybrid foam/ air boat collar systems. We manufacture a line of boats under the brand name Life Proof Boats. They have virtually unsinkable characteristics which makes them sought after in almost all marine applications.
We are looking for a team member to join our engineering department. This position involves creating production drawings for fabrication and vendor supply. The fabrication process involves taking the 3D model of the vessel and separating out each individual aluminum part, flattening them, and then converting them to line work for exporting to .dwg files. Then creation of a build book for each boat must be generated and subsequent production support through the manufacturing process.
Position overview:
Qualified applicants must be familiar Rhino3D and fluent with AutoCad.
Additional requirements include basic understanding of boats.
This position may also help other misc. design and manufacturing tasks associated with boat production.
Position Requirements:
Must be fluent with AutoCad.
Have an understanding of basic drafting skills.
Understanding and desire to work in a fast paced, hands on manufacturing culture.
The applicate must hold themselves to a high level of integrity.
Must be bought into the idea of working with a team on fast paced projects.
Must be capable of managing ones time efficiently and be able to work with little supervision.
Must be capable of understanding how to flatten developable lofted surfaces
