Position Title: Manager
Compensation/Rate: $30/hr. for 40 hr. week (paid if rains)
Location: Kennebunk, ME
Position Summary:
We are seeking a Manager for the Arundel Beach Club located in Kennebunk, Maine.
The Manager will:
• Maintain knowledge about the facility and its emergency action plan; ensure proper safety procedures are followed, activate the emergency action plan when necessary, and alert Management of emergencies and safety risks as needed. It is understood that the manager is not a certified lifeguard, and that certified lifeguards with perform their duties in accordance with their training
• Schedule lifeguards and update schedule as needed throughout the week
• Ensure that daily opening and closing procedures are executed and maintain a safe, clean and welcoming environment throughout the day
• Alert management to any required repairs and attend to minor items as able to do so
• Set the tone for a safe and professional environment, with enthusiastic maintenance of a high service standard, acting as a leader and role model
• Ensure that snack items and other supplies remain stocked and that all associated funds are properly accounted for.
Requirements:
• CPR, First Aid and AED training preferred
• Enjoy interacting with all ages maintaining a high service standard
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with variables in situations as they arise
• Ability to always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
• Must be available weekends
• Paid rain or shine at a competitive level - starting Memorial Day and then full time June 18 - 40 hours/week until Labor Day weekend.
Founded in 1970, the Arundel Beach Club is a private, seasonal club located in Kennebunk, Maine on the Atlantic Ocean. The Club is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
