JOHN T. BURGESS

Founder

During John’s tenure as Co-founder and President from 1978 to 2001, The Landing School gained national accreditation while earning an international reputation for excellence and leadership in marine industry technical education. Since retiring in 2001, he has continued his service on the Board and remains focused on the long term success of the School. John annually cruises the East Coast in a boat built at The Landing School and enjoys competing in equestrian events during the offseason.
