Position Title: Boat Designer
Compensation/Rate: Entry Level
Job Description: Position Description
Boat Designer, Entry Level, will, along with the Chief of Engineering, manage the development of new models and improvements and equipment changes to existing models.
The Boat Designer, Entry Level will issue engineering change notices and maintain bills of materials and have other administrative ongoing responsibilities.
The Boat Designer, Entry Level will create an issue shop drawings and liaison with shop personnel to implement changes and interoperate drawings.
Design responsibility will be assigned based on skill and experience.
This position requires;
- CAD drafting ability and knowledge of Rhino, Adobe, Orca 3D and Microsoft Office programs
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of recreational mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems
- Familiarity with ABYC Recommended Standards and Practices and ISO CE Certification procedures.
